Germany’s national AI strategy funds research and adoption alongside computing infrastructure. OECD reports €3.38B allocated to specific projects by June 2024. At the computing centres, Jülich operates JUPITER; LRZ’s Blue Lion is planned to enter service in 2027. HammerHAI has offered services on existing systems since April 2025 and signed a contract for its new HPE supercomputer in March 2026.
