AI New Ten Major Construction + NCHC Sovereign Compute

NCHC opened Nano4 for service on 1 Jun 2026. Its configuration includes 1,760 H200 GPUs and two GB200 NVL72 systems with 144 Blackwell GPUs between them. NVIDIA's May 2025 announcement also included an HGX B300 system; NCHC’s Nano4 specification lists H200 and GB200 NVL72 hardware, with no B300 entry. Taiwan has released TAIDE language models, beginning with TAIDE-LX-7B in April 2024. The AI Basic Act took effect on 14 Jan 2026. The Executive Yuan reported completion of the 2026 central-budget review in August; the statement gives no programme-specific AI appropriation.
