Meta's data centre campus on about 1,000 acres on the north side of Stan Roberts Sr. Avenue in Northeast El Paso, planned in five construction phases with the first under way, which Meta says will have 1 gigawatt of compute capacity for its AI work and will begin coming online in 2028. A venture announced in July 2026, owned 80% by funds managed by BlackRock and 20% by Meta, owns the campus and leases all of it to Meta.
