(3) ThaiLLM, launched 2026-04-01 and branded by NSTDA as 'A Sovereign AI Foundation for the Nation': Thai-language foundation models (8B and 30B parameters, trained on >100B tokens of Thai data) running on ThaiSC infrastructure, free via thaillm.or.th, developed by MDES + BDI + MHESI + NECTEC with DEF funding. LANTA's hardware vintage is November 2022, not 2026: ThaiSC's own resource page dates the system 'LANTA HPC (Nov 2022 - Present)', and the NSTDA article of 2026-02-27 describes that existing system rather than new hardware. The NVIDIA announcement of 2021-12-29 covering a 704-A100 NSTDA system is consistent with LANTA's procurement-to-deployment timeline: the accelerator count is identical and deployment followed in November 2022. That same-system identification rests on the fit of count and timeline; the NVIDIA release itself was not re-fetched when these figures were recorded on 2026-07-18.
