DOST launched the National Artificial Intelligence Center for Research and Innovation (NAICRI) on 26 February 2026 to coordinate AI research, computing infrastructure and shared platforms. DOST-ASTI’s COARE service provides research compute through Saliksik: 16 A100 GPUs across two nodes and six P40 GPUs across six nodes, alongside 36 CPU nodes. The launch also presented PREGINET, the research and education network; NAIRA, an AI service platform; and DIMER, a shared model repository.
