Broome County IDA (Industrial Development Agency) is confirmed as the developer of a 500-acre mixed-use technology park between Airport Road and East Maine Road, Union/Maine, Broome County. The IDA released a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement in March 2026 (public comment closing April 26, 2026). The project targets advanced electronics, semiconductors, and AI infrastructure tenants and projects 7,000 jobs and $2.3B economic impact. 250 MW at a 345kV interconnect on the Oakdale-Fraser | NEW DISCOVERY. Broome County Tech Park is a publicly announced IDA-led development with SEQR environmental review underway as of March 2026.
