Huawei's largest northern-China cloud computing hub, sited in Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Sits at the Inner Mongolia hub-node of China's "Eastern Data Western Compute" (东数西算) sovereign-compute strategy. Designed for ~20,000 10-kW cabinets at completion, supporting up to ~300,000 servers; serves as Huawei Cloud's primary North China region. The 2023 Global Smart Green Data Center Summit was hosted at this site (July 2023) where Huawei unveiled three DC facility solutions. Operates within the Ulanqab big-data cluster that also hosts Alibaba Cloud's Ulanqab super DC and other sovereign-compute tenants.
