Alibaba Cloud's Ulanqab super data center (Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region), the third of three super DCs launched together in July 2020 (alongside Hangzhou Yuhang + Nantong). Engineered around free-air-cooling for the cold Inner Mongolia climate (winter temperatures to -22 °C), reducing PUE; hosts Alibaba's self-developed X-Dragon, Hanguang 800, and Apsara stack. Sits at the Inner Mongolia hub-node of the "Eastern Data Western Compute" (东数西算) Chinese state strategy. Co-located with Huawei Cloud Ulanqab and other sovereign-compute tenants in the Ulanqab big-data cluster.
